13 Player Cards with unique actions based on their position offer insights into player roles. You make the choice on every play, but it doesn’t always go as planned, you have to roll the dice to execute your play! Some actions are safer than others, but offer smaller gains, so do you play it safe, or risk it for the line break?
PLAYER CARDS
13 Coach Cards include special plays, various kicks, line breaks, penalties, try attempts, and a captain’s challenge, capturing as much detail as possible of the nature of Rugby League!
COACH CARDS
The REF TOKEN keeps track of the tackle count and possession, while the BALL TOKEN and side-line markings keep track of field position.
Build pressure by completing sets and winning the battle of field position, and remember you can kick on any tackle, just use a PLAYMAKER!
REF AND BALL TOKENS
Flat Out Footy follows the same core rules as Rugby League, and was designed to help new fans of the sport to learn the rules and flow.
This includes positional roles for each player, complex rules and strategies, and the delicate balance of risk versus reward!
LEARN RUGBY LEAGUE
Complex Rugby League mechanics such as TACKLE BATTLES provide outcomes like errors in the play the ball or ruck interference, and ensures the game is never safely won! Players will always need a combination of both strategy and luck to stay in the fight, as kicking a 40/20 or making an early LINE BREAK can turn the tide at any time! Learning to balance safe options with timely risky plays will be a key to victory!
